A TRIO OF TREATS FOR THIS WEEKEND AT THE TRADES ROTHERHAM

A special Weekend at The Trades, Rotherham, where music lives, coming up.

Thursday we welcome to Rotherham Greek based Band Maplerun who will be bringing their ownbrand of Euro Metal for our enjoyment.

It's fantastic that a Band of this status should include Rotherham on the UK Leg of their European Tour.   So come on down, and have a great night out for only £5, and show that more of these Bands should be coming to Rotherham as part of their Tour.

Friday brings I Set The Sea On Fire one of the Regions top emerging Bands to The Trades, Rotherham, where music lives".  If this Band does not rock the foundations of the building there is something wrong with Mark on the sound desk!

In support Dead Set Dreams and Samh set the night up wonderfully for a great night.

Completing our fantastic trio of nights is XSLF.  Ex - Stiff Little Fingers.   Two of the founding members of the Stiff Little Fingers bring their raw exciting Punk energy to The Trades, Rotherham, where music lives.   For music historians a real treat, while it would be great for the younger folks to enjoy and experience first hand the sounds of one of musics legendary Bands,

In support we have Rotherham's very own Punk super stars The Thurminators.

Noise is the word of the Day.

STUDENTS HALF PRICE! AT THE TRADES

Many of us know that there is nothing better than excitement and atmosphere at a LIVE MUSIC event, be it an orchestral concert or a full on rock Gig.

At The Trades Rotherham we want young people to experience LIVE MUSIC at it's very best in a safe environment where they can see everything that is going on.

For this reason, students can get into any Trades Event, for half price during 2016.

So long as you are 16 +  and hold a student card this applies to you.   You wont get served at the bar unless you are 18, but there is a soft drinks area specially for you.

So students come down and feel the vibe of top Bands playing at the top of their musicianship.

Coming up we have everything from Abba pop to Hard Rock with everything in between.

SATURDAY 5TH MARCH AT THE TRADES - STORM TREES

This weekend at The Trades, where music lives, we host local rock band STORM TREES

This is the full on Storm Trees, as opposed to the Acoustic Duo version that gained many friends for the Band playing a Football Special last year.

You can expect some really clever takes on many Rock Classics while some of the Band's original material the way it should be heard.

In support we have the lovely Claire Woodburn a young lady who is fast developing a fine reputation on the local music scene for her original acoustic tunes.

So be sure to be in the place "where music lives" this Saturday for some great music.
